SPAN 4220 - Contemporary Spanish Women’s Literature5 credit hours A study of the works of Spanish women writers. The narrative texts will be examined from their socio historical context, focusing on the impact of women’s lives of the Civil War (1936-1939) and the “destape” which came as a result of the Franco regime during the post-Franco era, including the evolution and development of feminism in Spain.
