SOCW 3340 - Health and Human Services in Belize5 credit hours An exploration of the history, culture, and health and human service infrastructure of Belize, in the context of thinking critically about global issues in health and social welfare. Students will meet weekly during spring quarter and spend 10 days working with agencies in Belize according to their interests and skill set. Requisites may be bypassed by the department with permission of instructor.
