PUBM 5140 - Campaigns and Elections3 credit hours This course is designed to teach the behind the scenes elements and abilities that run modern political campaigns and how they build towards victory. Both candidate and initiative/referendum based campaigns will be studied. Current practitioners will guest lecture and many assignments will focus on producing actual campaign material. Areas covered in the course include campaign operations and structure, research and polling, fundraising, field, communications, media, political movements, campaigns and elections law, and more. Elective.
