ARTL 5500 - Social Issues Through the Arts3 credit hours Formerly - ARTL 550 Examine the effects and possibilities of socially engaged contemporary visual and performance arts that speak directly to peoples’ passions and politics. View, discuss, critique, and create a variety of artworks, individually and collaboratively, in an investigation of the place where social issues and aesthetics meet. Work will be displayed in a one-week exhibit on campus. Program elective.
