PUBM 5500 - Contracting and Procurement3 credit hours Formerly - PUBM 550 This course explores the operational practices and methods of effective service contracting and procurement by governments and nonprofits. Emphasizes the importance of ethics and transparency in public contracting, procurement and partnerships. The course considers management of performance risk, integrates contracting and procurement with other administrative systems, and reviews performance measurement techniques.
