FINC 5115 - Corporate Investment Decisions3 credit hours Formerly - FINC 549 Focus on the process of capital budgeting: the decision area of financial management that establishes criteria for investing resources in long-term projects. The decisions made regarding the acquisition, maintenance, or abandonment of capital assets plus certain financial decisions such as lease vs. buy are analyzed. Focus on the capital budgeting process under uncertainty and the connection with strategic planning.
