EMBA 5330 - Managerial Accounting for Business Executives2 credit hours This course addresses principles and concepts of management accounting for strategic decision making. Focuses on the use of managerial accounting information and its impact on business efficiency and effectiveness. Topics may include management control, business unit evaluation and strategic cost management, revenue tracking, cost and variance analysis, pricing decisions, and budgeting and forecasting approaches. An emphasis on using accounting principles to assess the effectiveness of organization models and communicate financial information for planning, analyzing, and controlling organizations, including those in health services.
