NURS 562 - Management of Gynecologic Health3 credit hours Health promotion and disease prevention for women from adolescence through old age. Developmental, preconceptual, interconceptual, and postpartum assessment, as well as the assessment and management of common episodic and chronic gynecological conditions of women in primary care settings, including culturally diverse, vulnerable and global populations. Theory and research from nursing and other disciplines are applied and integrated into a case-based approach. Prerequisites: NURS 501 and 575; Co-Requisites for nurse-midwifery majors: NURS 539.
