EPDES 934 - Teaching Reading and Writing to ESOL Students

Participants will become familiar with the reading and writing challenges and needs of ESOL learners from pre-literacy to high intermediate level. Instructional strategies for increasing literacy levels of ESOL students will be addrressed as will the development of instructional materials which are appropriate for the literacy level of the intended ESOL student. Prerequisite: EPDES 930.
