BIOL 172 - Biology Lab II

1 credit hour

In addition to illustrating the material from the lecture sessions, the laboratory sessions in the series are an introduction to basic laboratory procedures and practices for scientific inquiry. Students will work on developing observational skills, collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, experimental design, and presentation of experimental results. Three hours per week. Prerequisite: BIOL 171 for BIOL 172, and BIOL 171 for BIOL 173. Co-requisites: BIOL 161 for BIOL 171, BIOL 162 for BIOL 172, BIOL 163 for BIOL 173.
