Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence

The Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence (MSAI) program is an asynchronous online program designed for working professionals and recent graduates seeking to advance their careers in the rapidly growing field of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip students with advanced skills allowing them to understand and act as effective builders, responsible designers, and ethical users of systems that use AI concepts and technologies. The program will emphasize both a conceptual understanding of AI algorithms and technologies and the development of practical skills enabling students to adapt and build systems that use AI effectively and responsibly. Throughout the program, students will engage in practical real-world projects, applying their foundational skills to solve challenging AI problems.

Degree Requirements


Minimum requirements for the degree are 49 graduate credits.

One or both courses may be waived for students who show sufficient formal background training with permission of program director, department chair or associate chair. Elective credit to reach 49 credits total is required to replace waived courses.
