Strong statistical understanding isn’t enough in today’s business world. Companies need people who can understand the bigger context, see patterns correctly, and then use them to drive ethical and effective decision-making at every level.

In short, today’s businesses require a deep understanding of data and top-tier analytics skills. Here, you get both.

With hands-on experience using real-world data, you’ll learn to identify complex business problems in terms of analytical models, all while acquiring the skills and confidence to effectively translate your findings into recommendations for effective courses of action.

As a business analytics major, you’ll harness the power of data to help companies gain their competitive edge—and make decisions for the good of all.

Requirements


In order to earn the Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration degree with a major in Business Analytics, students must complete a minimum of 180 quarter credits with a cumulative and major/program grade point average of 2.00, including the following:

I. Core Curriculum Requirements


Module I: Engaging Academic Inquiry


Module II: Engaging Jesuit Traditions


Calculus, choose one of the following two courses:


IV. Program Elective*


  • Choose one additional 3000/4000-level Albers Business course (5)

V. Additional Requirements


  • General electives to total 180 (16)

Notes:


  1. Internships and independent studies may not satisfy a major requirement.
  2. *Foundation/Major/Program requirements must earn a C- grade or better.
  3. Program Elective may also apply towards an additional Albers concentration or minor
