Policy for University Honors Program Students

University Honors Program students who wish to earn a philosophy minor, need an additional 14 elective philosophy credits.

They are credited with the following equivalents:

Intellectual Traditions track:

HONR 1010  = PHIL 3010  
HONR 1030  = PHIL 3020 
HONR 2020  = PHIL 3030  
HONR 2030  = PHIL 3650  

Innovations track:

HONR 1010  = PHIL 3010  
HONR 2020  = PHIL 3030  
HONR 2030  = PHIL 3650  
HONR 2400  = PHIL 4290  

Society, Policy and Citizenship track:

HONR 1010  = PHIL 3010  
HONR 1030  = PHIL 3020 
HONR 2020  = PHIL 3030  
HONR 2040  = PHIL 4290  

NOTES:

The department can assist students to design a special track in the philosophy minor that complements the student’s major field.
