*Students may be waived from one or both of these preparatory courses if they have prior equivalent coursework.

Required Courses

Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA required in courses below for certificate completion. Grades earned in Preparatory courses do not apply towards this GPA requirement.

Complete 18 credits, including:

CPSC 5005 - Data Structures 3 credit hours
CPSC 5011 - Object-Oriented Concepts 3 credit hours
CPSC 5021 - Database Systems 3 credit hours
CPSC 5031 - Algorithms 3 credit hours
CPSC 5041 - Computing Systems Principles I 3 credit hours
CPSC 5042 - Computing Systems Principles II 3 credit hours

Minimum credits required: (18)

NOTE:

Students with previous comparable coursework to one of the required courses can be waived from that certificate course and have the overall credits required for the certificate reduced to 15. Students can be waived from at most one certificate course.
