Degree Requirements


Minimum requirements for the degree are 45 graduate credits. 6 graduate credits taken while pursuing a BSME degree at Seattle University and up to 9 graduate credits earned in transfer may apply towards the degree. A minimum of 36 post-baccalaureate credits for the MSME must be completed at SU. All degree requirements must be completed within six years after course work has begun.

I. Mechanical Engineering Courses (24 credits)


Complete eight (8) 3-credit 5000-level MEGR courses

II. Mechanical Engineering Project (6 credits)


Complete 6 credits of MEGR Project courses:

Complete 5 approved courses in the Albers School of Business and Economics

Note:


Prerequisite eligibility for each course will be determined based on the previous coursework and industrial experience. No MSME courses serve as prerequisites to other courses in the MSME program.
