Master of Arts in Education/Clinical Mental Health Counseling: Online Program

The online master’s degree program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) prepares students to work in mental health settings. This program can be completed from anywhere in the United States. An in-person summer residency on the Seattle University campus takes place on a weekend in the summer term after the first and second year of the program. This program culminates with a program approved practicum and internship in a mental health setting. Addictions studies in the curricula will provide students with the option to pursue State of Washington Substance Use Disorder Professional designation with appropriate post-graduate experience.
