Seattle University College of Nursing has an 80-year history of outstanding baccalaureate education in nursing, with an equally long tradition of community outreach and service. The aim of the College of Nursing is to provide students with the critical thinking tools and educational preparation necessary for professional practice, combined with an emphasis on values and service to others derived from the Jesuit tradition.

Requirements


To earn the Bachelor of Science in Nursing, students must complete a minimum of 180 quarter credits. The number of contact hours for lecture, lab, and practice/clinical courses is consistent with university policy on course scheduling. A 2.75 cumulative and 3.00 major/department grade point average is required for degree completion. All courses required for the BSN degree must be graded C (2.00) or better.
