Requirements

In order to earn the Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Chemistry, students must complete a minimum of 180 quarter credits with a cumulative and major/department grade point average of 2.00, including the following:

• CHEM 2501 - Organic Chemistry Laboratory: Techniques
• CHEM 2510 - Organic Chemistry: Functional Group Interconversions
• CHEM 2511 - Organic Chemistry Laboratory: Applications
• CHEM 3000 - Quantitative Analysis
• CHEM 3510 - Physical Chemistry: Thermodynamics and Kinetics
• CHEM 3511 - Physical Chemistry Laboratory: Techniques and Analysis
• CHEM 4985 - Senior Synthesis Seminar I
• CHEM 4995 - Senior Synthesis Seminar II
