Requirements

In order to earn a minor in Catholic Studies, students must complete 30 credits in the approved courses, with a minor/program grade point average of 2.00.

Courses selected for the minor in Catholic Studies may include those that fulfill university core or elective requirements and those taken to fulfill a major. Each student works with the director of Catholic Studies to create a program of study that fits their particular needs and interests.

NOTES:

A minimum of 15 credits of upper-division (3000- and 4000-level) courses are required.
No more than 15 credits from any one discipline may apply to the minor.
At least 20 credits must be taken at Seattle University.
Students should work with program director or minor advisor to complete 5 credits focused on Catholic intellectual heritage and natural or social sciences.
