Degree Requirements
The Doctor of Nursing Practice program requires completion of a minimum of 45 quarter credit hours1 (dependent upon entering academic preparation) and a combined minimum total of 1000 supervised academic clinical hours between the master’s and doctoral programs. The program of study includes up to 17 credits per quarter over 6 to 16 quarters. Variations from this plan will be considered on an individual basis.

NOTES:

All students completing the DNP must have completed the equivalent of 90 quarter credits beyond the bachelor’s degree. 36 credits which apply toward the Doctoral degree must be completed in residence at Seattle University.
