Requirements

In order to earn a minor in chemistry, students must complete 35 credits in chemistry, including:

CHEM 121 - General Chemistry I 4
CHEM 131 - General Chemistry Lab I 1
CHEM 122 - General Chemistry II 4
CHEM 132 - General Chemistry Lab II 1
CHEM 123 - General Chemistry III 4
CHEM 133 - Qualitative Inorganic Laboratory 1
CHEM 319 - Quantitative Analysis 5
CHEM Elective (200-level or above) (see course offerings ) (*5)
Organic Chemistry (200-level or above) (see course offerings ) (10)

NOTE:

*1 credit from CHEM 480 /CRJS 480 Forensic Science may apply towards the CHEM elective requirement in the minor.
