Requirements
In order to earn the bachelor of science degree with a major in electrical engineering degree and a specialization in computer engineering, students must complete a minimum of 180 quarter credits with cumulative and major/departmental grade point averages of 2.50 or greater. Courses must include the following:
I. Core Curriculum Requirements
Module I: Engaging Academic Inquiry
Module II: Engaging Jesuit Traditions
Module III: Engaging the World
II. Major Requirements
87 to 90 credits, including: NOTES:
*Students transferring to the program with an approved programming course are required to complete ECEGR 3000 Introduction to MATLAB (1 credit) instead of ECEGR 1000 - Computing for Engineers (5 credits).
**Allowable electives consist of ECEGR and/or CPSC approved by the computer engineering program director. A list of these can be found in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Student Handbook. Electives must be selected to ensure that the student has the required 180 credits for graduation.
