Requirements
In order to earn the bachelor of arts with a major in economics, students must complete a minimum of 180 quarter credits with a cumulative and major grade point average of 2.25, including the following:
I. Core Curriculum Requirements
Module I: Engaging Academic Inquiry
Module II: Engaging Jesuit Traditions
Module III: Engaging the World
II. Major Requirements
70 credits, including: - ECON 2100 - Business Statistics
- ECON 2130 - Principles of Economics - Macro
- ECON 2110 - Principles of Economics - Micro
- ECON 3100 - Quantitative Methods and Applications
- ECON 3110 - Intermediate Microeconomics
- ECON 3130 - Global and Domestic Macroeconomics
- ECON Electives (30)
Choose from upper division ECON courses, excluding ECON 4890 . FINC 3430 may be included. A minimum of 10 credits must be from: ECON 3500 , 3610 , 3620 , 3630 , 4110 , 4120 , 4660 , 4680 , 4690 , and FINC 3430 .

ACCT 2300 Principles of Financial Accounting and BCOM 2800 Communications for Business are recommended general electives.
