Requirements

In order to earn a minor in international studies, students must complete 30 credits, as follows:

International Studies Foundations, choose three of the courses below:

INST 2000 - Introduction to International Studies
INST 2300 - Introduction to Comparative Politics
INST 2600 - Introduction to International Politics
INST 3250 - International Political Economy
INST 3640 - Postcolonial Studies
INST 3880 - East Meets West

International Studies Electives:

Complete 15 credits of approved International Studies electives from the list in the major. One of these electives (5 credits) must be a designated Non-Western Humanities (NWH) course.

NOTE:

Courses satisfying requirements for university core cannot also satisfy requirements for the international studies minor.
