Requirements

In order to earn a minor in biology, students must complete 30 credits in biology, including:

BIOL 1610 - Biology I: Molecular and Cellular Biology
BIOL 1611 - Biology Lab I
BIOL 1620 - Biology II: Evolution and Ecology
BIOL 1621 - Biology Lab II
BIOL 1630 - Biology III: Physiology and Development
BIOL 1631 - Biology III Lab
BIOL Electives (15 credits numbered 2000 or above) (see Course Descriptions ) (15)

NOTE:

At least 5 of the elective course credits must be from courses numbered 3000 or above (see Course Descriptions ). Some of the course choices may require prerequisites beyond the minimal requirements for the minor.
