The Seattle University Master of Professional Accounting/Master of Science in Finance (MPAC/MSF) joint degree program is designed to allow students to complete both degrees in less time than if the two degrees were obtained independently outside the program.
I. Preparatory Work
The calculus requirement must be completed by the end of the first year in the program. The professional writing requirement must be completed within the first quarter.
Students with previous comparable course work with a B (3.00) or better have the option of waiving these classes. Students without previous course work are required to take these classes at Seattle University or another institution with the Program Director's approval.
**Students with previous comparable course work completed in the past five years with a B- (2.70) or better have the option of waiving these classes. Two courses may be waived without requiring replacement credit. Waivers for three or more courses will require an additional elective for each course waived. See VI. Electives.
