I. College of Education Required Courses

9 credits, including:

EDUC 5000 - Introduction to Educational Research 3 credit hours
EDUC 5130 - Adult Learning 3 credit hours
EDUC 5200 - Social Justice in Professional Practice 3 credit hours

NOTE:

The following may be substituted for EDUC 5130 with advisor permission:

II. TESOL Requirements

27 credits, including:

AEDT 5100 - Course Design for Adult Learners 3 credit hours
AEDT 5630 - Instructional Methods for Adult Learners 3 credit hours
TSOL 5330 - Second Language Acquisition: Theories and Issues 3 credit hours
TSOL 5340 - Second Language Teaching Methodologies 3 credit hours
TSOL 5310 - Linguistics for Language Teachers I 3 credit hours
TSOL 5320 - Linguistics for Language Teachers II 3 credit hours
TSOL 5360 - Language in Society 3 credit hours
TSOL 5380 - Structure of English 3 credit hours
TSOL 5660 - Internship in the TESOL Setting 3 credit hours

III. TESOL Elective Courses

Choose three of the following courses:
