Electrical Engineering/Specialization in Computer Engineering, BSEE

Requirements
In order to earn the bachelor of science in electrical engineering degree with a specialization in computer engineering, students must complete a minimum of 180 quarter credits with cumulative and major/departmental grade point averages of 2.50 or greater. Courses must include the following: I. Core Curriculum Requirements
Module I: Engaging Academic Inquiry
Module II: Exploring the Self and Others
Module III: Engaging the World
II. Major Requirements
87 to 90 credits, including: NOTES:
*Students transferring to the program with an approved programming course are required to complete ECEGR 1010 - Engineering Problem Solving With MATLAB (3 credits) instead of ECEGR 1000 - Computing for Engineers (5 credits).
**Allowable electives consist of ECEGR and/or CPSC approved by the computer engineering program director. A list of these can be found in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Student Handbook. Electives must be selected to ensure that the student has the required 180 credits for graduation. III. Other Program Requirements
