Requirements
In order to earn the bachelor of science with a major in cell and molecular biology degree, students must complete a minimum of 180 quarter credits with a cumulative and major/program grade point average of 2.00, including the following: I. Core Curriculum Requirements
Module I: Engaging Academic Inquiry
Module II: Exploring the Self and Others
Module III: Engaging the World
II. Major Requirements
55 credits in biology, including: Choose one of the following three courses:

Candidacy
Candidacy is required for enrollment into the first core courses of the Cell and Molecular Biology curriculum: BIOL 2750 /2751 . Candidacy is achieved by successfully completing the following: BIOL 1610 /1611 , 1620 /1621 , 1630 /1631 , and CHEM 1520 / 1521 , all with C- or better; BIOL 2700 with a C+ or better; and a minimum biology major grade point average of 2.8. |
