English/Creative Writing Minor

Requirements

In order to earn a minor in English/Creative Writing, students must complete 30 credits in English, including:

ENGL 200 - Literary Studies
Creative Writing electives in at least two genres (300- 400-level) (see course offerings ) (15)

Choose two of the following three courses:

ENGL 252 - Readings in British Literature I
ENGL 253 - Readings in British Literature II
ENGL 254 - Readings in American Literature

NOTES:

Graduates of the University Honors Program who have completed all five of the literature courses in that program may earn an English/Creative Writing minor by completing 15 credit hours of creative writing courses at the 300-400 level.
