IMPORTANT NOTE:

Requirements

In order to earn the bachelor of arts in economics degree with a major in economics, students must complete a minimum of 180 quarter credits with a cumulative and major grade point average of 2.25, including the following:

I. Core Curriculum Requirements

UCOR 1200 - Quantitative Reasoning (satisfied in major)

UCOR 1800 - Inquiry Seminar in the Natural Sciences (or BIOL 161/171, 200, CHEM 121/131, PHYS 105, 121)

Choose from upper division ECON courses, excluding ECON 489 . FINC 343 may be included. A minimum of 10 credits must be from: ECON 370 , 461 , 463 , 468 , 471 , 474 , 475 , 478 and FINC 343 .
