AVCS 1100 - Foundations I: An Introduction to 2D & 3D Art

This class is designed to introduce and practice the Elements of Design. This class will endeavor to illuminate these Elements as essential components of the art process, and to use those Elements in the creation of projects. Foundation 1 focuses on 2D and 3D practices. Throughout the course there will be a direct link made between the content of this class with the AVCS 1300 - Introduction to Visual Culture Studies. In order to synthesize the historical context and discourse with the creation of visual art.
