MEGR 3370 - Instrumentation and Data Acquisition 2

4 credit hours
Introduction to basic interfacing, instrumentation, and computer-based data acquisition, with application to mechanical engineering systems. This is the second course of the two-course sequence applying data acquisition techniques to the thermal system, machine design, heat transfer, and mechatronics. The course topics: interfacing, microcontrollers, sensors, statistical analysis, frequency domain analysis, and filtering. Four hours of lecture/activity per week.
