MGMT 3820 - Organizational Behavior

5 credit hours
In this course, you will be exposed to essential theories and frameworks for understanding human behavior in a variety of organizations.  We will cover topics like motivation, leadership, job design and well-being.  And you will be invited to take a deeper dive into areas of interest, meaning that you will be invited to take contrarian approaches to current theories, review the latest empirical findings in an area of interest, and participate in current discussions that concern the modern worker.  At the end of this course, you will understand how to create and maintain effective organizations with “soft” management interventions, hone skills relevant to management consulting, and gain greater awareness and confidence of your own “soft” skills.
