NURS 6489 - Transition to Advanced Practice Nursing: Practicum IV

Integration of theoretical and clinical components of the advanced nurse practitioner role in a capstone clinical experience. One hundred fifty hours of clinical practice in primary care settings with patients across the lifespan. Scheduled seminars to integrate the leadership, accountability, autonomy, professionalism, collaboration, consultation, and research dimensions of the role. Registration restrictions may be bypassed by the department with permission of instructor.
