NURS 5013 - Leadership and Management3 credit hours This course critically examines the role of the nurse as leader, emphasizing the utilization of effective interprofessional communication skills, delegation, and coordination that effect change and create a culture of safety. The nurse’s role in shaping and addressing policies on issues of equity, affordability and social justice are addressed. Registration restrictions may be bypassed by the department with permission of instructor.
