MCFT 5230 - Ethics and Law in Couples and Family Therapy

Formerly - STMC 5230
This course examines ethical and legal issues in systemic therapy. Students deepen their knowledge of the roles and responsibilities of a licensed marriage and family therapist. Students gain knowledge related to legal codes (e.g., Washington Administrative Codes and Revised Code of Washington), standard of care, HIPAA, and other professional matters related to systemic therapy.
