MCFT 5700 - Systemic Treatment of Addictions3 credit hours Formerly - STMC 5700 This course provides an overview of the systemic treatment of drug and alcohol abuse and other addictions. Students learn the tools needed to recognize and treat a variety of maladaptive behaviors (e.g., gambling). Etiology, assessment, and treatment models are explored while attending to issues of resilience and social justice.
