In this course, theories and models related to the therapeutic treatment of couples, partnerships, and other intimate relationships are introduced (e.g., emotion-focused therapy) and deepened (e.g., modern and post-modern approaches). The course explores how people in significant relationships experience resilience and meaning making. Students practice writing case conceptualizations and using evidence and theory based interventions.
