NURS 6017 - Health Care Economics and Finance3 credit hours This course applies management and microeconomic principles for planning, control, and decision making in health care programs. Introduction of financial concepts, financial management, and cost accounting as they apply to health services. Analysis of cost, quality, and outcomes as factors in the development and evaluation of health care programs. Registration restrictions may be bypassed by the department with permission of instructor.
