ECON 5325 - Emerging Nations and the International Economy3 credit hours Formerly - ECON 583 Analysis of emerging economies with an emphasis on international issues. Topics include: recent history of selected emerging nations; basic models of economic progress; natural and human resources; technology and technology transfers; domestic and international economic policy; international aid and investment; the international economy; multinational corporations; and the LDC debt crisis.
