ELCB 0910 - Advanced Communication for American College

The class focuses on elements of public speaking assignments both formal such as presentations and debates and informal such as discussion groups and group projects. Students also learn how to use appropriate formal or informal communication protocols and make distinction between social and academic registers. Students continuously work on spoken fluency development, overall intelligibility, and speech clarity. Designed for non-native speakers of English. This course does not count for credit towards a degree.
