IT Risk Advisory and Assurance will provide the student with an overview of the IT Risk Advisory and Assurance profession. The course learning objectives include: (1) Students will gain a robust understanding of the technology process, risks, and controls using the American Productivity Quality Center (APQC) framework (2) Students will be able to effectively and efficiently plan, execute, and report on technology process, risks, and controls based on primarily on the Institute of Internal Audit (IIA) Standards (3) Students will experience “hands on” IT Audit work and spend time with experienced IT Auditors.

Prerequisite Course(s): ACCT 5140 or ACCT 5310 or equivalent
