DIUS 3600 - Echocardiography II4 credit hours Application of Doppler and grayscale sonography in the detection of the more common cardiovascular diseases present in the adult population. Includes advanced hemodynamics, physiology, diagnosis and treatment. Primary focus on coronary artery disease, valvular lesions, cardiomyopathies and left ventricular dysfunction. Includes a discussion of the complementary use of other non-sonographic testing modalities.
