STMA 5760 - UCC History and Theology

3 credit hours
This course studies the history of the four parent denominations which united to form the United Church of Christ (UCC), as well as the theology prevailing in each of the four traditions compared with current UCC theological statements. This course will also examine how the UCC participates in God’s Mission, God’s Beloved community, and Covenantal Communion, grounded in both theology and history.
