NURS 6489 - Transition to Advanced Practice Nursing5 credit hours Formerly - NURS 5089 Integration of theoretical and clinical components of the advanced nurse practitioner role in an intensive, capstone clinical experience. Two hundred forty hours of clinical practice in primary care settings with patients across the lifespan. Scheduled seminars to integrate the leadership, accountability, autonomy, professionalism, collaboration, consultation, and research dimensions of the role. Registration restrictions may be bypassed by the department with permission of instructor.
