NURS 6250 - Population-Centered Nursing Theory and Practice5 credit hours Provides a foundation in public health nursing concepts to integrate into advanced practice. Key to this process is the conceptualization of community and population focused care through an initiation into nursing theory and public health science designated for health promotion and disease prevention on the population level. Throughout the course students will reflect on their developing conceptual model of population focused nursing in the provision of socially just care. Registration restrictions may be bypassed by the department with permission of instructor.
