NURS 6400 - Advance Inpatient Pharmacology3 credit hours Formerly - NURS 5400 During this course, the student will be exposed to the pharmacologic agents that are used during acute and chronic phases of altered health. This course will examine the pharmacodynamics, mechanisms of action, and indications/contraindications. At the completion of this course, the student will be able to describe the implications of polypharmacy during an acute change in health status. Registration restrictions may be bypassed by the department with permission of instructor.
