STMC 5230 - Professional Ethics and Law

This course will examine law in spiritually-integrated couples and family therapy. The course will examine roles and responsibilities of the therapist under the law. Students will gain knowledge related to “standard of care,” legal codes (e.g., WAC and RCW), cultural competencies related to ethical practice, family law, and other legal issues within the realm of couples and family therapy.
