Seminar that focuses on the socio-emotional, cognitive, and physical changes experienced by young adolescents, and best practices for addressing middle school students’ developmental needs; explores the socio-political, gender-based, and cultural issues relevant to middle school teaching. Three-day course combining seminar with focused observation in middle schools.
